Elliott Sequoia Endre LMFT-CST sex therapist relationship therapist coach Arcata CA

Elliott Sequoia Endre is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Certified Sex Therapist (CST) with a decade in clinical practice — based in Arcata, California, and working worldwide.

In 2016, Elliott established the first private psychotherapy practice dedicated to sex workers and adult industry professionals. That commitment remains central to the clinical, political, and ethical foundation of this work.

They have worked in public health, human sexuality, and therapeutic practice in Britain, Germany, Canada, and the United States since 2003. They hold an M.A. in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), where they completed their graduate practicum in sex therapy at the Liberation Institute of San Francisco, and a B.A. in Political Science from Bryn Mawr College.

Elliott is an immigrant, queer, and non-binary. They bring all of that into the room.

Elliott-Sequoia's clinical training reflects a commitment to depth over breadth.

They are an AASECT member completing advanced sex therapy supervision under Fiona O'Farrell, PhD, MFT, CST-S. Elliott studies the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy under direct personal mentorship with Fiona O'Farrell — a rigorous framework for understanding relational development applied in Elliott's practice to couples, polycules, and complex constellations.

They are a trainee at the Institute for Archetypal and Cross-Cultural Studies under Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés Réyes, Diplomate Senior Jungian Psychoanalyst — whose depth psychology and storytelling traditions inform Elliott's transpersonal and somatic clinical orientation.

They hold ongoing coursework through the International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM).

“While much psychology emphasizes the familial causes of angst in humans, the cultural component carries as much weight, for culture is the family of the family. If the family of the family has various sicknesses, then all families within that culture will have to struggle with the same malaises. There is a saying cultura cura, culture cures. If the culture is a healer, the families learn how to heal; they will struggle less, be more reparative, far less wounding, far more graceful and loving.”
― Clarissa Pinkola Estés
